Nutrition & Integrative Health  Program Description

Tai Sophia Institute’s proposed Post-Master’s Certificate in Nutrition and Integrative Health is a 15 semester credit hour program within the existing Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health program. The certificate offers health professionals and those with advanced science training an opportunity to learn core competencies in the field of integrative nutrition. The courses will be offered in executive weekend format for working professionals and can be completed in 11 to 15 months. Students will integrate a biochemical and molecular understanding of nutrition into a broader context of whole food healing and whole person health and wellness care. Students may specialize in areas including mindful eating, whole food preparation, diabetes education or eastern nutrition philosophy. Graduates are eligible for board certification in the field of nutrition and can advance their careers in health care with specialized training in integrative nutrition.
